Eli Hadzhieva

Eli is an expert on the role of the EU, European politics and elections, and the digital economy, as can be seen from her thought provoking articles in the Parliament Magazine, Euronews, Le Soir, l’OBS, Revue Études Européennes, Euractiv, EUobserver, New Europe, plus other similarly prestigious media outlets, where she has also amply demonstrated her expertise in the following additional policy areas; trade, economy, foreign affairs, climate change, digitalisation, security & defence, and radicalisation & immigration.

Eli studied economics and political science at the Middle East Technical University, the University of Manchester, King’s College London, Sciences Po Paris & the École Nationale d’Administration. 

After joining the OECD as a consultant and serving at the AFET, DROI, LIBE and INTA Committees of the European Parliament as a parliamentary attaché, she became an entrepreneur, being the Founder of two enterprises: the EURELIZ communications company; and Dialogue for Europe.
