Joseph graduated from King’s College London with a BA in Geography, and from the London School of Economics with an MSc in Media and Communications Governance. His academic interests lie in the complex relationship between communications networks and governments, with his master’s thesis focusing on the influence of digitalisation on the governance of European air traffic management systems.

Joseph has experience in transnational multi-stakeholder projects, having interned at Alcatel Submarine networks which designs, manufactures, and installs submarine telecommunications infrastructure across the world. At ASN, Joseph engaged with Geographical Information Systems (GIS) and organising government permits, where he developed an understanding of the complex processes which underscore global communications networks.
