In 2022, the International Association of Paediatric Dentists (IAPD) was looking to establish a new Fellowship category for qualified dentists who met standards of excellence and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement. The IAPD required support in managing this new venture.

THE SOLUTION
The APG (Assessment for Professional Growth), a subsidiary of Low Associates, assisted IAPD in establishing the Fellowship and managing the process of creating and conducting the exam. This included all aspects of exam management; establishing a brand identity, marketing to a global audience, and ensuring a smooth candidate journey. The security and integrity of the examination were key to creating this gold standard accolade.
The examination was held in April 2022, and the successful candidates were invited to a ceremony at the IAPD annual Congress in Maastricht, where they were awarded a hard-won IAPD Fellowship badge.
This first ever global paediatric dentistry examination attracted candidates from all over the world, and was a great success. A delighted IAPD has since decided to repeat the exam on an annual basis now that they have established this prestigious brand.
