THE CHALLENGE

The Conference Board Europe – the brand’s European arm – comprises three knowledge ‘centers’: Economy, Strategy and Finance; Governance and Sustainability; and Human Capital. These centers produce regular research reports and insights for members. On top of this, each center organises a host of councils, where members can engage in peer-to-peer exchange on a broad variety of topics. In the US, where The Conference Board has been operating as a leading business think-tank since 1916, its reputation is widely recognised. A membership that includes most of the Fortune 500 companies reflects this influence and reach.  Our campaign will utilise the profile of its member networks and the robustness of its independent research, to expand the authority of the brand in Europe.

THE SOLUTION

LOW has been engaged to raise The Conference Board’s profile in Europe. To do this, LOW organises roundtables with top mainstream and specialist press outlets to build awareness of the think tank among the European press corps. We are also working with The Conference Board’s research team to unearth the news stories in upcoming research reports, and match these to the European news agenda. Furthermore, we are taking steps to boost the social media profile of The Conference Board Europe by developing a regular and consistent drumbeat of engaging content for a broad European audience comprising senior executives of blue-chip companies; owners and managers of SMEs; and public sector leadership.
