DG EAC Selects LOW for the First Time to Strengthen HEInnovate’s Impact
LOW Selected to Lead Communications for HEInnovate Initiative
We are proud to announce that LOW has been selected as part of the consortium, led by PPMI, to support the HEInnovate initiative—an ambitious effort by the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Education, Youth, Sport and Culture (DG EAC) in collaboration with the OECD LEED Forum. Our role will focus on enhancing communications, stakeholder engagement, and outreach to maximize the impact of this vital tool for Higher Education Institutions (HEIs).
HEInnovate: A Game-Changer for HEIs
HEInnovate is a self-assessment tool designed to help HEIs enhance their entrepreneurial and innovation capabilities. However, many institutions across Europe and beyond are still unaware of its full potential. At the same time, the rebranding of the Education for Innovation Practice Community (EIPC) into the Community for Educational Innovation (CEI) has yet to achieve widespread recognition, limiting its ability to foster collaboration and drive meaningful change in higher education.
LOW’s Role: Amplifying Awareness and Engagement
As the communications lead in the HEInnovate consortium, LOW is committed to increasing awareness and engagement with HEInnovate’s services. Our strategy will focus on:
Stakeholder Engagement & Outreach – Proactively connecting with HEIs to ensure they fully understand and utilize HEInnovate’s resources.
Clear and Recognisable Communication – Establishing a cohesive brand identity for HEInnovate and CEI to make their services more accessible and impactful.
“Be an HEInnovator” Campaign – Showcasing success stories from institutions that have embraced entrepreneurial and innovative practices.
Revamping CEI’s Visual Identity – Creating a dynamic new visual identity for CEI that aligns with HEInnovate’s mission and goals.
A Multi-Channel Approach for Maximum Impact
LOW will implement a comprehensive multi-channel communication strategy, leveraging video testimonials, infographics, engaging events, and tailored resources to bridge the gap between HEInnovate’s capabilities and the needs of HEIs. By updating case studies, training materials, and interactive content, we aim to drive engagement and support the development of a thriving community of HEInnovators.
Together with PPMI and our partners, we are committed to revitalizing HEInnovate, ensuring its services are widely recognized and effectively support innovation and entrepreneurship in higher education.
Stay tuned for more updates on our progress!
