The American Seed Trade Association (ASTA) aims to foster stronger collaboration and alignment between the EU and the US on plant breeding innovation, particularly around new genomic techniques (NGTs). THE SOLUTION

LOW is supporting ASTA with an integrated advocacy and communications campaign that promotes the benefits of plant breeding innovation and builds bridges across the transatlantic seed trade. 

Our work spans the delivery of high-level advocacy initiatives targeting EU policymakers and regulatory audiences, as well as the development of engaging content — including infographics, videos, and social media campaigns. This includes organising ‘Lunch & Learn’ events in Brussels for Parliamentary Assistants and Permanent Representative Attachés, designed to deepen understanding of NGTs and stimulate informal dialogue. 

Through tailored messaging, thought leadership, and strategic partnerships with organisations like Euroseeds, LOW is amplifying ASTA’s voice within the EU policy landscape. Our on-the-ground activities, including site visits and expert interviews, further support ASTA’s mission to reduce regulatory barriers, enhance innovation, and build a transatlantic seed sector fit for the future.
