LOW Associates wins the EC SME Assembly contract for the fifth time in a row

LOW Associates Brussels SRL has been appointed by the European Commission’s European Innovation Council and SMEs Executive Agency (EISMEA) to organise and implement the Directorate-General for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs (DG GROW)’s SME Policy Outreach Activities project encompassing the SME Assembly, European SME Week, and the European Enterprise Promotion Awards (EEPA). LOW was first contracted to this project in 2012 for the SME Assembly in Cyprus.

Sally Low, CEO and Founder of LOW, said: “We are proud to have been selected by the European Commission for the fifth time in a row to organise European SME Week, the SME Assembly and the European Enterprise Promotion Awards, which have become the ‘go-to’ events for SMEs and those that support & promote them.”

“This year, we will be emphasising that by working together and driving innovation, SMEs will be a major force in Europe’s twin transition.”

“Given the high quality of the competition for this contract, LOW's experience, creativity, and technical expertise in the SME sector together with a powerful team of innovative consortium partners were clearly critical in the decision to award the contract to us.”

The four-year contract will be carried out by a pan-EU consortium led by LOW, supported by innovative experts from GOPA Com (Belgium), Abbit Meeting Innovators (Belgium), and CoCreativeFlow (Germany), who will bring to the Assembly the latest groundbreaking engagement methods involving technology-enhanced on-site and online participation.

The first SME Assembly, the European Enterprise Promotion Awards ceremony; and the European SME Week under the new contract will take place (in partnership with the Hungarian Presidency of the Council) from November 18th to 20th, 2024, in the beautiful city of Budapest.
